Side,
can only talk about my own experience.
When it came to my own personal building work, took the local quote, from a UK builder got what I paid for and was glad of it.
However there are several young people in my family who took the baby machine and benefit route and are not interested in starting at the bottom of the ladder. This is where I have seen others come in and fill gaps.

Europeans who were decent at their job, always wanted MORE than British people within the construction industry.
I was a trades and labour recruitment consultant, specifically on contractual work and I can assure you those "eastern Europeans" who had any clout were more expensive than Brits.
Those who were fucking shit are clearly going to work for peanuts.

I like this badge of honour snowflakes like MPI & Branded have given to the Eastern European folk, shame their kids will be taught by them very same people to tell you to go poke your job offers for building work etc in about 5 years time.
Planks like you's two don't see the bigger picture and are quick to put down you own only to find the Eastern Europeans will do the same with their kids.
